1. Malware

   • Run anti-malware software
   • Software which deletes or damages files

2. DDOS

   • use a firewall to stop it
   • Software is used to flood a server with too many requests to make it crash.

3. brute force attack

   • use a strong password
   • locking accounts after certain number of login attempts
   • Software which tries lots of password combinations to get into somebody's account.

4. data interception

   • a unauthorised user who tries to read data which is being sent
   • Use encryption

5. phishing

   • An email which tricks you into entering your personal details
   • Check the email to make sure that it is trusted
