   • However it does not check the accuracy of the data
   • Types
     • Range check
       • Allows you to set suitable boundaries
     • Type check
       • Ensures the correct type of data is entered into that field
     • Length check
       • Ensures the right amount of characters are entered into that field

   • Easy to edit
   • Reports can be printed
   • Easy to share

   • Add,change or delete data
   • Search data
   • Sort the data
   • Print reports
   • Use the data in other applications
