how to install?
- option 1: separate checkboxes for every backend, user chooses what to install. Can we have a default in installer? validation? checkboxes would have to be under bundles for osgi and under lib for non-osgi
- option 2: can we lay down support for all backends, but only load the classes that are used in a service?
