1. PLAY

   • SETTING: REARRANGEMENT OF SCENES
   • Director has Polonious spy on Hamlet & Ophelia & that is how he come to know about Hamlets madness
   • SETTING: Characters move on and off the stage area
   • CHARACTER: Characters actually do the actions they describe themselves doing for example Hamlet actually makes a cross with his swords upon seeing the Kings ghost 1.25.16

2. MOVIE

   • Whereas in the play Hamlet does not even go to fathers funeral
   • CHARACTER : Whereas in the play Ophelia informs Polonius of Hamlets Visit in Act 2 ,scene 1
   • Whereas in the movie action is filmed outside and within the many rooms of the castle
   • Film makes severe cuts in the amount of dialogue a character speaks, which is why the long speech delivered by Horatio in scene 1, King in scene2 , and Hamlet in scene 4
   • In the play however, Horatio is responsible for those actions
   • I'll cross, thou it blasts me Act 1,scene 1
