                    1. those of 'honourable character'

                      2. They received rewards for this post
                        1. they could wear tunic witha narrow purple stripe
                          1. occupy first 14 rows of theatre
                            1. wear golden ring of office
                              1. presented with a horse at public exspence
                                1. revival of military horse procession every 15th July
