1. The Pilgrim People of God

   • Catholics think of the church as the pilgrim people of god
   • Pilgrimage is a movement towards a final destinations Christians we believe we are on our way to greet God at the time of death, therefore through our daily lives we should make progress .In this way Christians are on a sacred journey throughout their lives .A Christian who sees their life as a pilgrimage should do their best to ensure the people they meet are touched by the presence of God
   • "Christians on pilgrimage toward the heavenly city, should seek and think of these things that are above"- Gaudium et Spes57

2. The Stations of the Cross

   • Jesus was a great Pilgrim,the final stages of his journey saw him travelling from Pilates house to the place of his crucifixion

3. Pilgrimage to Jerusalem
