   • Software is a set of instructions, data or programs used to operate computers and execute specific tasks. Opposite of hardware, which describes the physical aspects of a computer.

     • Software that allows images to be edited and also converted to different graphics formats. Image editors typically deal with only bitmapped images such as GIFs, JPEGs and BMPs.

     • software which allows editing and generating of audio data.
   • Spreadsheets
     • A computer application for organization, analysis and storage of data in tabular form. Excel is great example of this kind of software.

     • software that is designed for creating databases and managing the information stored in them.

     • Software that allows the user to create, modify and design a Web page, being useful for creating blogs or advertisment pages

     • a software application used to locate, retrieve and display content on the World Wide Web, including webpages, images, video and other files.
