   • scans for credit card numbers and passwords to steal

5. Randsom ware

   • Blocks user to access computer and requires a fee to unblock them

6. Adware

   • people pay for ads to pop up and then to get rid of them the user has to pay for an ad blocker

7. Spyware

   • Collect private information that can result in identity theft
