1. Quantitative

   • The type of data whose value is measured in the form of numbers or counts
     • Quantitative data describes numeric variables for example; How many? How often? How much?
       • Example: There are four cakes and three muffins kept in the basket

2. Qualitative

   • The data that approximates and characterizes.
     • This data type is non-numerical in nature. It is collected through methods of observations.
       • Example: The cake is orange, blue, and black in color
