3. Characteristics

   • teacher must be inventive and creative
   • Students communication is priority
   • Makes interdependence between knowledge and communication
   • Students use language through coomucative activities

4. Principles

   • Use of languege in real context
   • target language is vehicle for classroom communication
   • Errors are tolerated as part of the development of communication.

5. Avantages

   • More interaction between students ''pair work activities''
     • better communication between teachers-students
   • The classroom is more active
   • It is oriented to the students needs

6. Disadvantages

   • Lack of the explicit teaching of grammar
   • not all classrooms are available for group work
   • some students are shy to talk or work in teams
   • The approach does not focus on error reduction but instead creates a communicative situation

7. Proposals to put CLT into practice in the classroom

   • give more prominence to students,
     • learning will not only depend entirely on the initiative of the teacher who is considered a source of learning,
       • it should try to make students acquire competences and skills in the language with the main function of the use of language as communication.
   • support and motivate students to learn on their own
     • By giving them confidence, making them believe in themselves.
       • helping them get out of their comfort zone
         • actively participating in the teaching-learning process (learning by doing).

8. how our education system would be if they stop using the traditional way and start using new approaches as CLT.

   • Our educational system would be excellent if instead of standardizing, education is personalized
   • students would be more active in their learning
   • A score would not be a priority but the learning itself
