     • Suffers with the decision of whether or not he should kill the man who killed his parents
     • Preoccupation with death

2. Their Mistakes

   • Hamlet
     • Believing the ghost, because it could have been a trick, or not the true spirit of his father
     • Killing Polonius, because that is the reason that Laertes wants to fight him. He wants to avenge his fathers death.
     • Acting insane. This manipulates Ophelia and is one of the reasons she kills herself.
   • Batman
     • Saving Ra's al ghul, who then comes back later in the film to destroy Gotham
     • Telling Rachel he is Batman. This reveals his true identity, and it will be harder for him to hide it to the rest of the world/

     • Figuratively- His insanity/Passion for avenging his fathers death
     • Literally- Was poisoned from the tip of Laeretes sword
   • Batman
     • Figuratively- Revealing himself to Rachel
     • Literally- He did not die
