STAGES

WARM UP

Teacher will ask to

a student to come front, teacher will cover students’ eyes with a scarf and

then the student has to put one hand inside of a black bag containing several

things, he/she has to describe 1 thing of the bag, how does it feel to touch

it, what shape does it has, for this activity other 5 students will do the

same with one of the things of the bag. Then teacher will show to the whole

class the things from the bag.

PRESENTATION

Teacher will present

each object giving to each one an adjective to describe it (e.g. rope- long,

wood- hard). Teacher will ask to other 6 students of the class to show one

object that matches to one of those descriptions, and then they have to say

the name of the thing they chose and the adjective to describe it.

Teacher will read

Elephant to the students two times. Before the second time teacher give

to each student a worksheet with the story but they have to draw in some

squares as the teacher explains and also they have to write what they hear.

The las point is to draw the 6 blind men version of the elephant as a whole.

The story is about six

friends that were blind. One day one of the blind men said “there is an elephant in the city”

The second one said “what is and elephant like?”

The first men said “I don’t know” do you know what an elephant

is like?

The other blind men

said “no”

So they all went to

the city to find out what is an elephant like.

The first man touched

the trunk of the elephant, he could not see but he could feel and he said:

and sharp like a knife

The third man touched

the ears of the elephant and said:

touched the leg of the elephant and said:
