In the ocean, the crust is thinner, while on the continents, it is thicker. In the lower upper mantle, convection currents exist.
The Mariana Trench, with a depth of 10,994 meters, is the deepest part of the ocean.
The crust is about 5km deep on average. The mantle is about 2,900 kilometers thick. All earthquakes originate in the lower mantle (shake).
The magma that flows to the surface is generally attributed to the upper mantle.
Nickel and iron make up the outer and inner cores. Liquid state of the outer core (2300km). Solid-state inner core that is 1200km
The material becomes denser as we dig further into the Earth.
D stands for mass/volume.
The Earth's Crust is divided into two types: continental and oceanic crust.
The oceanic crust is 7 kilometers thick.
Basalt is a black igneous rock that makes up the oceanic crust.
The continental crust is 35 kilometers deep, but it may be 70 kilometers dense.
Granite makes up the majority of the structure. Continental rocks have a density of about 2.5 pounds per cubic centimeter. The minerals in the oceanic crust are younger and denser, weighing 3.0 grams per cubic centimeter.
The Earth's Mantle contains over 82 percent of the planet's volume. It extends almost 2,900 kilometers deep. The upper mantle can have a depth of 660 kilometers. Peridotite is the most common rock in the upper mantle. Metals like magnesium and iron are abundant. The entire crust, as well as the uppermost mantle, make up the lithosphere. Its average distance is 100 kilometers. The asthenosphere is a soft, relatively weak layer that lies underneath this rigid layer to a depth of 350 km.

Deepest part of the ocean, 10,994 meters. The average depth of the crust is 5km. The thickness of the mantle is about 2900km. The lower mantle is responsible for all earthquakes. In general, the general the upper mantle is responsible for the magma that flows to the volcano. The outer and inner core is made up of nickel and iron.
Mantle more than 82 percent of the earth's volume is contained in the mantle.
