ARGUMENT

- Parts of ARGUMENT: Claims / statements and Diagramming arguments

- A group of claims or statements in which at least one statement (THE PREMISE) attempts to provide reasons for believing another statement (THE CONCLUSION) (Vaughn 2016, 42)

- A claim or statement is an assertion that something is or is not the case; it is either true or false (Vaughn 2016, 41)
