MBTI
They are not abilities. Just because they are strong doesn't mean they are capable. There is no better or worst types. People are the best judges of their own type. I am ENFP. ENFJ is the greatest. Yeah, we were right. Gender F and J were very gender prone. F has more females and males are more T.
Implication: Extravert likes to work in teams and then Introverts like to work individually.
Sensing and intuition:
Thinking and Feeling: Thinking logical and feeling avoid telling bad news.
Judging and perceiving are preferences in work style.
MBTI is just a preference. Few people come up dominant scores. Be aware of basic assumptions.
Six people involved in communication: who think you are who you think other who you think other people think they are. Who other think you are, who other think other, and who people think others think they are.
Message is to communicate ideas and negotiate relationships. The negotiate is a rapport or status.
Decoding the message: Set of culturally learned signals, by which we not only communicate what we mean but also interpret others' meaning and evaluate one another as people. Think about speed of delivery; this provides clues. How we understand rhythm is just as important. How we use humor is also important.

- Inescapble=communication, complex, contextual.
-Active listening: listening to understand. Focus on the speaker, then provide good encouragement. Think about that relationship when you are listening. Make sure when you are providing feedback that it is the right time and actable.
Don't do the sandwich mechanism :Critical, compliment, critical. Should not sugar coat. People will be confused or they are thinking nice but come up with hard stuff. Make trust and then provide negative feedback.
Assess the situation to fair and accurate. In feedback, be specific for people to hear. If you are receiving, make sure you can control the process. Don't seek feedback unless you can do it.
Don't assume what is said is understood.
