Bubble Sort

Shell Sort

(Patterns underneath the numbers)

Divide number of objects/numbers by two and thats how many sublists you have

Then sort those numbers in the same sublists into order and the REPEAT THE FIRST STEP AND CONTINUE

Pivots are the main thing to remember about this algorithm

Boxing the numbers will also be a key thing to remember once they are in order, this is how we let the examiner know that the number is in the correct order

Underlining the first two numbers and sort those

Then repeat this process, but now adding another number so that you increase the number of numbers that you compare every time until all numbers are underlined

Compares pairs of numbers

Move along all the pairs of numbers until you get to the last pair, then this is classed as a pass, keep repeating this step until all the numbers are in order
