Anki

Anki - electronic flashcards

•
• Pie de imagen: Original Anki logo
• Anki, along with Quizlet and several others, is the electronic equivalent of the Leitner flashcard system.
• The app works on the principle that we remember things best when we are reminded of them at increasing intervals. The program quizzes the user on the information to be learned at intervals optimal for memorizing - based on the user's own responses.
• For better memory retention, you can add images: anything that will help you remember, no matter how odd or silly it may be.
• For learning languages, you can add sound files, for instance from forvo.com
• Important: Keep the cards simple. Just one piece of information per card. You will see it, briefly, many times!
