Supply Chain Management

The supply chain management is a very important part for companies, because there is this point on the process for all the products that the companies have to follow, like the video shows, we have a really long process for just a simple bottle of water, SCM is one of the most important touls on companies, because if we dont have an efficient SCM our product will not give profit to us, or maybe the clients wont have what they want, the SCM is a really long process of selection for all the pieces that we need to create the most efficient way to produce a product. So we have for example the bottle of water, this bottle of water needs a lot of process to be able to get on a shop so people can buy it, we need the bottle to be produce, that has a cost, we need a place to put that bottle safe or in place where the bottle dont get hurt, also we need a method of transportation for that product, a that also costs, and obviously we have employees, and they have to get payed. in simple words every process that we have to do has a cost, and there is where a really good supply chain manager shows up, we have to produce this bottle of water at the least cost, and with a very good quality so we can have sales and with that, profit. this video is a really good example for people to understand the importance of the SCM in companies how they need to have a really good worker in that area of the company so they can get the higher profit at the least cost.
