ZERO CONDITIONAL

• It is used for universal truths.
• If + present simple , present simple
• If you study, you pass the exam.
• If you don't study, you don't pass the exam.
• Do you pass the exam if you study?

FIRST CONDITIONAL

• It is used for highly probable things.
• If + present simple , will + infinitive
• If it rains, you will catch a cold.
• If it doesn't rain, she won't catch a cold.
• Will she catch a cold if it rains?

SECOND CONDITIONAL

• It is used for making hypothesis and suppositoins.
• If + simple past , would + infinitive
• If you played with us, we would win the match.
• If you didn't play with us, we wouldn't win the match
• Would we win the match if you played with us?

THIRD CONDITIONAL

• It is used for making suppositions and hypothesis in unreal past actions
• If + past perfect , would + present perfect
• if she had studied, she would have passed her exam
• She wouldn't have failed her exam if she had studied
• Had she passed her exam if she would have studied?
