What is the purpose of the computer case? A case protects the motherboard from too much dust, from getting bumped and from getting things spilled on it. It also protects it from overheating with its inbuilt fan.
What is an input device? An input device is any hardware device that sends data to a computer, allowing you to interact with and control it.
What is an output device? An output device is any device used to send data from a computer to another device or user.
What is a storage device? A storage device is a piece of computer equipment on which information can be stored.
What is the purpose of the power supply? A power supply is a hardware component that supplies power to an electrical device.
What is the purpose of the processor? A processor is a small chip that resides in computers and other electronic devices. Its basic job is to receive input and provide the appropriate output.
What is the purpose of the RAM? The RAM is where the computer stores the current task that is being carried out.
What is the purpose of ROM? ROM is memory containing hardwired instructions that the computer uses when it boots up, before the system software loads.
By law, what do employers have to provide for their employees? They have to provide them with tiltable screens, anti glare screen filters, foot supports and adjustable chairs.
