What is the brain ? The human brain is the command center for the human nervous system. It receives input from the sensory organs and sends output to the muscles. The human brain has the same basic structure as other mammal brains, but is larger in relation to body size than any other brains.
The neurons It is clear that most of what we think of as our mental life involves the activities of the nervous system, especially the brain. This nervous system is composed of billions of cells, the most essential being the nerve cells or neurons. There are estimated to be as many as 100 billion neurons in our nervous system
The hemispheres Right Hemisphere: Responsible for control of the left side of the body, and is the more artistic and creative side of the brain Left Hemisphere: Responsible for control of the right side of the body, and is the more academic and logical side of the brain
