Question Answer
what is the IV Width of the strip
what is the dv the length of the strip after adding the 500g
name two control variables -same bag -same time after adding masses -total mass added -same length to begin with
was the experiment appropriate? (useful) yes because it shows a trend
Did you repeat it? Why? yes to be able to calculate the mean average (in case there was any systematical errors).
what would happen if you did not repeat the experiment? The results may not have followed the line of best fit very closely
did the results support the hypothesis? yes because the the hypothesis was "the wider the strip, the lesser the stretch" and the results link to this pattern. USE RESULTS (e.g. the 2cm strip went to 26cm and the 4cm strip went to 25.5cm)
was it reproducible? yes because in the two sets of data there was a similar pattern of the widest strip strutted the least. USE RESULTS
How does the experiment match the context? it enables business' using plastic bags to create a strong enough bag for the average customers needs, while being concise with the material. Provided the business knows the weight of the average customers purchases
