What does ROM stand for? Read-Only Memory. The contents of ROM are meant to be stored on a permanent basis, the purpose of ROM is to store small amounts of data.
What is this? A Soundcard. The soundcard produces sound that can be heard by the user through speakers or headphones.
What does RAM stand for? RAM stands for Random Access Memory. All of the programs you have open are saved in the RAM, RAM is saved an it can be changed.
What does CPU stand for? What does it do? CPU stands for central processing unit. The CPU is responsible for executing a sequence of stored instructions called a program.
