What do most Christians believe God looks like? God has no restrictions caused by physicality but exists as a spiritual being that defies description. "God is a spirit"- John 4:24
Describe the Story of Job His faith was tested when God took everything away from him. When he kept faith, God gave it all back.
Describe how God is omnipotent (all-powerful) He created the universe and Jesus performed many miracles, he also brought Jesus back from the dead. "Nothing is impossible with God"- Luke 1:37
Describe how God is omnibenevolent (all-loving) "For God so loved the world he gave up his only son"- John 3:16 'The Prodigal Son' parable preaches love and respect
Describe how God is just The ten commandments promote justice. "Let justice flow on in a never-ending stream"
Explain the Inconsistent Triad It is only logical for 2 to be able to exist at a time
If God is omnibenevolent, omnipotent and just, why does evil still exist? Give some points. For empathy, test for faith, punishment, freewill, need evil to appreciate good
What is moral evil? Action caused by humans to create suffering (murder, rape, bullying)
What is natural evil? Things which cause suffering but have nothing to do with humans (natural disasters)
What are the main Christian beliefs? The Trinity, Heaven and Hell, Resurrection of Jesus, Ascension of Christ
What is the Trinity? The belief that there are three beings in the one God, they are seperate but also one being
How do Christians believe in God as the Father? The loving creator and sustainer of the universe, a good father to his children (us) "Our father who art in heaven"
How do Christians believe in God as the Son? The saviour who was born in human flesh and lived, died and rose again, incarnate on Earth through Jesus.
How do Christians believe in God as the Holy Spirit? The source of strength which Christins find at work in their hearts, unseen power of God in the past, present and future
What is incarnation? Becoming flesh and taking human form
What is resurrection? Rising from the dead
What is blasphemy? A religious offence where you claim to be God
Write an account of the Cricifixion Story Sanhedrin wants to try Jesus for blasphemy, hands him to Pontius Pilate, Judas betrays him, crowd chooses murderer over Jesus, Jesus wears thorn crown and is flogged, takes him 6 hours to die

What are the Literalist views on the Creation Story? Creation story was exactly as it happened in the Bible
What are the Liberal views of the Creation Story? It needs to be interpreted, Science and Religion can work together, maybe God created the Big Bang
Which 4 gospels tell accounts of the resurrection story? Matthew, Mark, John and Luke
What was the ascension? Jesus going back up to heaven 40 days after the resurrection
What is heaven? Beyond the clouds, A state of eternal happiness in the presence of God
What is hell? A fiery pit deep below Earth, a place of eternal damnation and suffering in the presence of Satan
What is sin? Behaviour against God's law
What is salvation? Being delivered to heaven by Jesus
Explain the concept of original sin When Adam and Eve disobeyed God, they placed evil on all of mankind which is carried on through sex and given to every new-born child
What are 2 means of achieving salvation? 1. Good works (earned through faith) 2. Grace (given as a gift)
What is atonement? Jesus restoring the broken relationship between humanity and God
