What and why is Development Gap a thing? We will be focusing on Development Gap and the types. There are 4 types 1 type= 1 card
Social An example: A lack of contracept What does it mean: Babies will be born in poorer countries
Environmental An example: The climate in some countries are very hot What does it mean: Countries will need more water which some countries mostly don't have
Economic An example: Not able to exchange goods What does it mean: Wont be able to get the goods; Which means having to live without them
Political An example: Foreign countries wont invest in each other What does this mean: Some countries will be poor
Development Gapes are the difference between poor and rich countries There are 3 types of countries LDC MDC EDC To explain 1 type= 1 card
LDC This stands for Lower Developed Countries. Their current situations: Jobs less paid and much harder Pollution Lack of health care Drink unhealthy water
EDC Stands for Even Developed Countries. Their is nothing to explain since its in the middle; they have healthy conditions but its not the best.
MDC This stands for More Developed Countries. Their current ways: Peaceful Political Areas Well-Kept Areas More well educated children Economically better
