| 4 - God as Creator | 1 - creeds and catechisms teach Gods omnipotence, only an 'all powerful' God could create the universe. 2 - universe is not an accident, god created everything in it and therefore universe is good. 3 - life is sacred because God created it. this belief gives Christians the responsibility of safeguarding his creation 4 - God made the universe for humans, shows Gods love. 5 - God continued to be the creator. seen in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, which brought salvation. |
