Clones Genetically identical organisms - same genes, same alleles
Embryonic Stem Cells - Unspecialised cells found in early embryos - Stem Cells removed from embryo and destroyed - Could turn to any cell at all
Adult Stem Cells - Unspecialised cells found in adult animals - Could maintain or repair old and damaged tissues - Can specialise into many cell types - Stem cells can be safely removed from adult without embryos being destroyed e.g. bone marrow
