What is binary Binary is a counting system for computers. Why do computers use Binary? So they can store data with 0 - 1
What are transistors? A semiconductor device with three connections, capable of amplification in addition to rectification
what is binary made up of Binary is made up of 8 bits: 128, 64, 32, 16, 8, 4, 2, 1
How do you add and subtract in binary 1111+0111 = 10110 Denary: 15+7= 22
Hex Hex is also another way people convert denary numbers since it is faster.
fun To work these out you either work out the binary and convert it. But I think you can work out denary to hex straight away. Using the so good booklet we have to use to revise things with much information.
