Values of Denary Denary is the number system used in normal mathematics e.g. 1, 2, 3, 4...
Values of Binary Binary is an eight digit number system used in computers. e.g. 01110101 = 117 00010101 = 21
Values of Hexadecimal Hexadecimal is a number system used mainly in digital colour coding. E.g. 7 =7 C = 12
Converting Denary to Binary To convert a Denary number to Binary, you have to first create a B-D (binary to Denary) conversion chart like the one in the "Values of Binary" flashcard. Then, you must repeatedly subtract the highest possible number that is smaller than the given Denary number from the given Denary number until you get zero. For example
