Describe what Autism it? This is when the social and communication skills are disrupted. this can also have learning difficulties.
Who has Autism the most? It tends to be more in boy then girls and no's no racial or social boundaries.
What ways are communication development disrupted? Language skills may not be normal:not able to express themselves, may not us hand gestures when speaking, not understand difficult commands,not understand expressions or tone
Autistic children display unusual behaviour what are the characteristics. hurt themselves when they are angry to gain attention, laugh are things that are inappropriate, avoid eye contact, no fear of danger, limited imaginative play.
What about the parents? They might feel guilty about their child's condition. There is support for them.
How can the child improve there social and communication development? Visual aids are often used but the child is an individual so they have there own program with some therapies for support.
