COMMA - INTRODUCTORY CLAUSE | An introductory clause followed by a main clause is separated from the main clause by a comma. An introductory clause is often introduced by words such as if, as, when, though, although, because, and others. EXAMPLES : IF you complete your work before five o'clock, you may leave.
