| Question | Answer |
| what is an Axis ? | Line that connects the north pole with the south pole. Which Earth rotates around. |
| What is a revolution? | It is a one complete orbit around the sun. |
| What are seasons ? | Summer, autumn , winter , spring which are caused by the tilt the planet's axis. |
| what is a day ? | The time and measurement of time a planet takes to rotate completely around it's own axis . often about 24 hours. |
| what is a year ? | The period of time a planet takes to revolve around the sun. |
| why do we see the sun moving from east to west ? | the sun does not actually move anywhere, it is the earth it self spinning from west to east which makes the sun appear like it is moving. |
| why are areas around the equator much hotter than other normal areas? | because they are pointing towards the sun, the sunlight that falls on them is always bright and it's heat is always concentrated. |
