RECORD All data about one item in a database.
FIELD A single category of information that is recorded in a database.
Primary key A field in a table which uniquely identities each record in that table.
Database Persistent (does not go away),organised store of data in electronic form.
Form User interface tool which allows a user to enter or change data in the table.
Entity An object or thing of importance about which data in a table.
Relational Type of database in which two or more tables are linked to each other
Foreign key A field use in a one table to represent the value of a primary key in a database.
Verification making sure if the data you entered is correct. e.g. Retyping the password.
Validation To make sure the data you entered is sensible.
Input mask A type of validation that gives you a format of what to input for example
Presence check Check if their is something in the box
Range Check To check if the data is within a particular range. using <=> e.g.
List Check IT give you list of option so there is less chance of making mistake.

Data redundancy Where data is repeated unnecessarily in a database.
Data integrity The correctness of in a database.
Packet How data is sent over the network.
Mac Each device has its own mac address (A unique number)
Domain Name Domain is like IP address and has unique name which allows the user to remember the web site easily.
DNS Domain Name System it convert Domain name IP address to computer language.
