Boston Massacure Deadly altercation between British soldiers and colonists in Boston.
Tea Act Proclaimed the East India Tea Company was the only Tea colonists could buy and it was sold directly to the colonists at a lower price.
Boston Tea Party Colonial merchants in Boston planned to send tea back to Britain. The Sons of Liberty changed the plan and dressed up as Mohawk Indians and dumped tea into harbor.
Coercive Acts/Intolerable Acts 1. Closed Boston Harbor until the colonists paid back what they destroyed (90,000 pounds of tea). 2. Took power away from the Massachusetts legislature and put it into the hands of the royal governor. 3. More troops from England to maintain law and order. AnotherQuartering Act ensuring British troops could secure a place to stay.
