Question Answer
BSI Quality management system which any organisation can be accredited by. Different standards and numbers for different products. Includes the British Standards Kitemark which shows that a product has been externally tested and deemed safe and of a high quality. Passed rigorous quality control processes at all stages during design and manufacture.
ISO International standards. BSI are a leading member of the ISO and represents the UK's interest in the development of such standards.
CEN CE Means that the product has met all the requirements of all relevant European directives from the European Committee for Standardisation. Has a minimum standard of quality to allow it to be moved freely through the European Single Market
