• Scrooge doesn't trust Bob and keeps a close eye on him

• The office is cold because Scrooge won't pay for coal

• Fred visits Scrooge to wish him a Merry Christamas but Scrooge calls him a fool for being happy when he's poor.

• Two charity workers ask scrooge for money to help the poor but Scrooge is rude and says the poor should go to the Workhouse or die.

• The weather gets worse and we are told the the church bell can just be seen through the fog, looking down on Scrooge.

• Away from the office lots of people are having fun and getting ready for Christmas

• Reluctantly, Scrooge gives Bob Christmas day off.

• Bob goes home happy and playful and slides on the snow. However Scrooge follows his usual routine and walks in the dark to his "gloomy" home.

• At home, Scrooge is visited by the Ghost of Jacob Marley.
