FRACTIONS

1. SIMPLEST FORM

   • A fraction is in its minimum expression when the top and bottom can not be smaller. That is to say that they can not continue dividing
     • To simplify a fraction, divide the top and bottom by the highest number that can divide into both numbers exactly.

2. EQUIVALENT FRACTION

   • The equivalent fraction is the same fraction written in another way
     • The rule to remember is: "Change the bottom using multiply or divide, And the same to the top must be applied"

3. A FRACTION AS SUM OFUNIT

   • A unit fraction is a number written as a fraction where the numerator is one and the denominator is the same of the original fraction.

4. WHOLE TO FRACTION

   • To convert a whole to fraction, follow these steps: 1. Multiply the whole number part by the fraction's denominator. 2.Add that to the numerator 3.-Write that result on top of the denominator

5. FRACTION TO WHOLE

   • To convert a fraction to whole , follow these steps: 1. Divide the numerator by the denominator. 2. Write down the whole number answer 3. Then write down any remainder above the denominator.
