  1. To form the present continuous the auxiliary verb "to be" and the verb + ing are used.
    1. Applications
      1. 1. Express something that is happening in the moment, instant. Example: I am watching a movie
        1. 2. Say something is going on for an unlimited time. Example: Andrea is studying in this university
        2. Rule for using gerundi ing
          1. 1. Verb + Ing Examples: speak/speaking play /playing eat/eating do/doing
            1. 2. Verbs ending in E (replace E with ING). Examples: Write/writing dance/dancing smile/smiling drive/driving
              1. 3. Specific cases. Verbs that end in consonant vowel (m-n-p) doubling the consonant. Examples: Run/running swim/swimming stop/stopping plan/planning
            2. The present simple, is used to express actions of frequent use
              1. Rules of third-person use of the singular
                1. 1. As a general rule we add an S. Examples: I work - She Works - You work -He works (we-they-you - it Works
                  1. 2. When the verb ends in O, S, Sh, Ch, X or Z is added is when they are accompanied by personal pronouns in third parties (SHE, HE, IT). Examples: Go/goes - watch/watches Kiss/kisses - Fix/fixes - Wash/washes - Buzz/buzzes
                    1. 3. Verbs ending with -y
                      1. When the verb ends and Y is preceded by a consonant, Y is deleted and an IES is added. Examples: study/studies
                        1. Irreguralidad A: If they end with a consonant + Y, the y is changed by i and then the -es is put. Examples: study /studies - try /tries - fly /flies - cry /cries
