Present Continuous

Uses
1. Actions that are happening at the moment of speaking. Ex: He is reading now
2. Actions that are happening at present, but not necessarily at this moment. Ex: I'm studying English at a language centre.
3. Future arrangements. EX: Sarah and I are having a birthday party next weekend.
Examples
1. Afirmative: I'm studying/ She is studying/ We are studying
2. Negative: I'm not studying/ She isn't studying/ We aren't studying
3. Question: Am I studying?/Is she studying?/ Are we studying?
  1. Yes I am / No, Im not Yes, She is/No, she isn't Yes, we are/No, we aren't

1. Verb To Be + ING form of verb
Spealling
1. Adding _ing
  1. Read -Reading Play -Playing Talk -Talking laugh -laughing Cry - Crying Die- Dying
2. Take away final -e
  1. Arrive- Arriving Make - Making Write - Writing
3. After one vowel + consonant: double consonant
  1. Run - Running stop - Stopping Put - Putting Sit - Sitting
