Simple past tense

Affirmative form

Use Simple Past to talk about things that had happened at a specific time in the past
Interrogative Form

  2. Did he had lunch in the cafeteria with his classmates ?
Negative Form

    1. He didn’t go to his Piano lesson

  2. ( subject + did not/ didn't + verb in base form )
Types of verbs
1. Irregular verbs
  1. TO COME < came
  2. TO GIVE < gave
  3. TO GO < went
2. Regular Verbs
  1. If the verb ends in "e, we only add a" d "
  2. If the verb ends in "consonant + y", we change the "y" to an I and add "ed"
  3. If the verb is of a sflaba and has the form "c + v + c", we double the last consonant and add "ed"
  4. If the verb has two syllables and the second is stressed, we fold the last consonant and add "ed"
