    1. Definition: It is used to establish comparative relations between different things, people or situations
      1. Rules: Adjective with up to two silabas adds the "er" at the end of the word. Adjectives finished in "e", we add only the "r".
        1. Ex: Our living room is larger than yours. (Nossa sala de estar é maior do que a sua.)
        2. Rules: Comparative is followed by "than". Adjectives with more than three silabas are used the more.
          1. Ex: She is more beautiful than her sister. (Ela é mais bonita do que a irmã.)
          2. Rules: Adjectives finished in "y", the "y" is exchanged for the "i" and we add the "er". Adjectives finished in consonant+vogal+consonant (CVC), the last consonant is doubled and we finish with "er".
            1. Ex: That test was easier than I thought. (A prova foi mais fácil que eu pensei)
              1. Ex: My bedroom is bigger than my brother’s. (O meu quarto é maior do que o do meu irmão.)

              1. Definition: Superlative adjectives describe when an object or person is at the bottom or top end of a given quality
                1. Rules: Adjectives whit up to two silabas add "est" at the end of the word. Adjectives finished in "e", we add only the "st".
                  1. Ex: That’s the shortest dress I’ve tried on! (Esse é o vestido mais curto que eu já provei!)
                  2. Rules: Superlative is followed by the article the in adjectives with more than three silabas we use the most.
                    1. Ex: John is the most important person in my life. (John é a pessoa mais importante na minha vida)
                    2. Rules: Adjectives finished in consonant+vogal+consonant (CVC), the last consonant is duplicated and we finish with "est". Adjectives ending in "y", the "y" is exchanged for "i" and we add the "est"
                      1. Ex: That’s the biggest building of the whole town. (Esse é o maior edifício de toda a cidade)
                        1. Ex: Luke was the happiest guy of the party. (Luke era o cara mais feliz de toda a festa)
