  1. Headphones
    1. We used headphones when editing the music video, this made it easier for us to get the video and lip syncing in time. It also helped me personally with the distractions of the class, some of my fellow peers weren't using headphones therefore the room was filled with lots of different music playing., the headphones helped me lock into my music only.
    2. YouTube
      1. YouTube is used throughout my coursework as i used it to upload different aspects such as production diaries, focus groups, drafts, etc. We chose to upload our videos to YouTube as it was what we used in our AS coursework so we were familiar with the website, another reason for selecting YouTube was because it is often used by artists to upload their music videos, and promote their new tracks as it is such a large 'stage'. It was a good site to use as we could access it from out phones therefore we could access the video anywhere, anytime.
      2. Blogger
        1. Blogger is the key element in my A2 coursework as I have used it in every aspect of my work. The work is displayed in chronological order, Blogger made it very easy for me to do this as it dates everything and creates an archive. It allowed my work to be interactive through the use of web 2,0 tools, which makes it more engaging, even with the web 2.0 tools imbeded in my blog is still clear which is a good feature of Blogger. It easy to access, therefore I could work on my coursework anywhere, anytime, this was a huge advantage.
        2. Final Cut Pro
          1. To edit our music video we used Final Cut Pro as we had some common ground, due to using it for our AS coursework. It enabled us to try lots of different transitions and effects which helped develop our music video. I feel the effects helped us to conform to the codes and conventions of the indie genre.
            1. I feel as though Final Cut Pro enabled us, as a group, to edit and sync our music video to the best of our abilities. It was also easy to upload the videos to YouTube which was our chosen site.
          2. Apple Mac
            1. We used Apple Mac's to edit our music video as they are quick and easy to use.
              1. Until the beginning of our AS coursework I hadn't worked on an Apple Mac so I had to get used to the layout but now I am comfortable with it therefore the process was easier.
            2. Social media
              1. We used social media platforms such as ; Facebook, Twitter,Instagram, etc. This is one of the most common ways in which artists promote their new music, as it allows them to reach out to such a large, world wide audience.
              2. Iphone
                1. We used our phones on multiple different occasions within the construction of our music video. We used different members of our groups phones for the filming which included; iPhone's 6/6s/7, they all had the same high quality do there is no different in the footage when putting it all together for the final music video. We also used the phone for the music to enable Todd follow the rhythm and timing of the song, this made the lip syncing a lot easier and look better, it was sometimes difficult to ensure that you couldn't see the phone in the shots.
                2. Cannon camera
                  1. We used the camera to film some of our scenes in London but we unfortunately didn't have it charged enough to film the whole thing which then developed in us filming the rest of the footage on our iPhones. The camera footage all still had good footage therefore we still included it in the music video.
                  2. As a group we decided that it was easier to film on the phones, they were easier to upload the videos to the Mac as we used 'AirDrop', using the phones also made it a lot quicker. Another positive of using the phones was the battery life and the storage space.
                    1. Photoshop
                      1. Photoshop is an Adobe software that we decided to use for the manipulation and editing of images, for the digipak and the advert. I hadn't used Photoshop in my AS coursework but I had used it a little I my other subject Graphics, but this defiantly didn't mean that I was confident on the program, in fact I was far from. I decided to just fiddle around with the program until I got a grasp on the key tools, this then mad editing a lot easier. For features I didn't know I googled and gathered a better understanding.
                      2. I researched how to make different aspects black and white and some colour, after I learned how to do this I made the artist in colour and the background black and white which really made the artist stand out.
                        1. We then changed the filter on the images to make them look cartoon like.
