                                                                            1. Use of hands as a sensory organ which then improve ability to complete more difficult tasks
                                                                        2. Treat others how you would like to be treated- APPLIES TO KIDS TOO!!
                                                                          1. Didactic material provides order for the mind so they are prepared for writing and math later

                                                                                2. Rods for addition (adding 8 and 2 rather than 1+1+1+1 etc)

                                                                                3. Good and evil- evil in children is merely something we adults find annoying because we don’t understand it

Bread example: if a child needs something to live (bread) and we tell them they cant have it, they will naturally attempt to attain it by other means but if we give them what they need and crave for their developmental and physical well being then problem is eliminated
