                          1. Mainframe computers are usually used by governmental organizations for processing bulks of data such as Census.
                            1. The main advantage of the mainframe computer is the high stability and reliability for processing data
                              1. The cost of the mainframe computer is substantially higher than the cost of a mainframe computer.
                                1. Usually found in factories.
                              2. Desktop or PC
                                1. A personal computer is not usually used for portable purposes. More for regular use at a single location, like a work desk or IT Suite.
                                  1. A desktop computer has a larger storage capacity and will not run out of charge.
                                    1. A desktop computer is not portable and must be plugged in at all times.

                                    2. Laptop or Notebook
                                      1. A laptop is a portable personal computer that opens like a book. Usually used in education or workplaces.
                                        1. Laptops are much smaller than a desktop and mainframe computers which means the portability factor is much easier.
                                          1. Needs charging, more fragile, able of less demands and instructions.
                                            1. Found in homes and workplaces - for personal and business use.
                                          2. Netbook
                                            1. A netbook is a smaller, lighter edition of the laptop.
                                              1. Suitable for word processing and web browsing.
