            1. RAM is volatile because you need to save your work before turning the computer off.

              1. ROM is non-volatile memory because you don't need to save your work before you turn the computer

                1. Non-volatile memory means that the memory is not lost when the computer is switched off.
                  1. Volatile memory means that the memory is lost when the computer is switched off.

                    1. RAM stores programmes or data currently being used.

                      1. ROM stores the instructions that start up the computer.

                        1. Yes, but when you open and close the programmes.

                          1. No, because you can mess it up.
