they can sometimes be the reason you survive

most of the greasers didn't have family or at least a good one
1. Johny had a abusive parent
2. Dally's dad didn't care about him and couldn't care less about what happened to him
3. Darry Soda and pony were the onely ones who did have a caring family who were brothers
