1.1 People tend to take part in the same sports as their friends
1.2 many people also tend to follow in their parents footsteps, e.g.; they would be influenced to do the same sports as their parents, and even support the same sport teams
1.3 Many people also get influenced by their peer group - people of the same age.
1.4 It is much easier to succeed in any activity with the encouragement and support of friends

2.1 Many activities require specific equipment, in school these equipment might be available, but if you want to practice this sport outside the school you might be required to buy the equipment
2.2 Some brands fashionable than others, but also more expensive
2.3 The media coverage is also very important, media coverage increases the popularity of some sports
3 Culture
3.1 Now there are many more availabilities for disabled people in many countries to give them a chance to take part in sports
3.2 Age can also affect the performance
3.3 Due to different genders, some people might not take part in in some sports because they are advertised to be more for males than females.
4 Resources
4.1 Depending on the availability of the facilities people go to, if there aren't many people would be discoraged to go
4.2 If the facilities are far away, many people will not be able to go
4.3 You also need to take into account, that some facilities that don't open during school holidays
5 Health & wellbeing
5.1 People who are ill, cannot take part in physical activity
5.2 People who suffer from asthma, they might not be able to take part in any activities that require a lot of running
5.3 However many people go to the gym to stay healthy
6 Socio-economic
6.1 Most activities have some costs liked with them. this could be the cost of renting the facility, lessons or even equipment
6.2 Some people might not be able to afford to take part, so as a result they get discouraged.
6.3 Some people might be able to afford it, but they don't have the time
