What is Teleworking
1. An increased number of people are working from home and using ICT methods to communicate with their place of business. This is called 'Teleworking' and involves the use of email, the internet and fax machines.
Teleconferencing
1. Skype
2. FaceTime
3. Advantages
  1. It is not neccassary for people to travel to a meeting
    1. Saves time + expenses
    2. Attend from office or home
  2. Meetings can be called at short notice
4. Disadvantages
  1. Many people prefer to meet face-to-face with others when important descisions need to be made
  2. Videoconferencing equipment needs to bought.
    1. Microphone - input device
    2. Speakers - output device
    3. Video camera/Webcam
  3. Altough it is improving, the technology is not yet perfect and sounds and pictures may not be completely synchronised and may appear 'jerky'
