    1. Examples: USA, UK, Australia, Japan, Norway, etc.
      1. These countries have a high standard for living
        1. Correlations:High GDP/captia--> high life expectancy higher literacy rate= low fertility rate
    2. Less Economically Developed Countries
      1. Examples: Niger, India, Haiti, etc.
        1. They are at a low stage in development
          1. Correlations: Low GDP/captia= Low fertility rate
      2. Centrally Planned Economy
        1. Examples: North Korea, Russia
          1. Economy= controlled completely by the government
            1. Living standard are high but freedom of speech is limited
        2. Oil Rich Countries
          1. Examples: Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Libya, etc.
            1. Very rich but wealth not evenly distributed
              1. NO OIL= they will become LEDCs
          2. New Industrialising Countries
            1. Examples: South Korea, Taiwan, etc.
