2.2 Work Done = Force X Distance Moved W = FD
2.2.1 If a car is pushed 5m with a force of 340N how much work has been done to it?
2.2.1.1 ANSWER:
2.2.1.1.1 W = 5 x 340
2.2.1.1.2 = 1700J
3 POWER
3.1 Power = The rate of doing Work
3.1.1 Measured in Watts ( W ) or J/s
3.2 Power = Work Done / Time Taken
3.2.1 If a bulb outputs 10J of energy in 1min. Find its power
3.2.1.1 ANSWER:
3.2.1.1.1 P= 10/60
3.2.1.1.2 = 1/6
4 GRAVITATIONAL POTENITAL ENERGY ( GPE )
4.1 GPE = Stored Energy
4.1.1 The stored energy is given to the object when it is raised up and only released when the object falls again
4.2 GPE = Mass x g(10) x height GPE = mgh
5 GPE --> KE
5.1 Falling objects convert GPE into KE
5.1.1 The KE Gained
